An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green
I absolutely love John Green's books, I'm working my way through them all and only have Will Grayson, Will Grayson to go. This admittedly was my least favourite of his books but it's still excellent. Colin is such an adorable character. I love the narrative tone that Green uses in his novels. There was quite a bit of math in this novel but I understood most of it, however I do have some friends that didn't so I'd watch out if your not so good at maths and have someone on hand to explain it.

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
I will never ever read this book again. It's written from inside the mind of a serial murder/rapist. I found it very disturbing and hard to read. For example there is a chapter that involves a starved rat, some cheese and a girl's genitalia. See? Not nice. I think what the most creepy thing is at the beginning of the novel he seems like an alright guy. It's one of those novels that was written to schock people, like Lolita, it was definitely an expierence readin but I don't think I'll be reading it again.

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
Oh my, this book is just perfect. I read this in a day. It is seriously so good. I instantly fell in love with the characters. This is such a beautiful novel, the narrative character is a teenage girl with cancer. There are some very touching moments in this novel, I'm not one to cry at books but I have a friend that cried all the way through this. Would seriously recommend this book!

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
This book is what I'd call a 'teenage-easy-read'. It's good but it's not particularly challenging. It's the sort of book I'd recommend for people that like to read to relax. I really like the story line in this. A girl whose aunt has died receives little letters from her aunt each one contains an instruction. She then follows the instructions and ends up travelling Europe. I'd recommend it as a book to read on holiday.

Have you read any of these books? Did you enjoy them? Have you read any good books lately?
