Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Levithan

What can I say about this book? I love John Green and I love David Levithan. They collaborated brilliantly on this. I found myself really connecting to the characters in this and I loved the narrative tone. I don't really want to give too much away but this made me laugh out loud at times.

When God Was A Rabbit by Sarah Winman

I actually really enjoyed reading this but there wasn't much to the plot line. It's one of those books that's about nothing but about everything at the same time. It's an easy read but it does raise a few issues and makes you think.

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

This book was ok but wasn't all that well written. Not that it's a bad book but I think it's supposed to be read by pre-teen girls and I didn't realise this when I picked it up from the library. The plot line was quite interesting but at the same time really unrealistic. There is a second book but I don't think I'll be checking it out.

Does My Head Look Big In This by Randa Abdel-Fattah

I really enjoyed this. It's about a girl wanting to wear a jihab to school but being scared about what people will think. This was set about 10 years ago(I think) but it brings up a lot of issues that are still relevant today. I find books that bring up racial and social issues so I really enjoyed it.

The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe by Douglas Adams

I enjoyed this more than I enjoyed the first book in the series, I love Douglas Adam's quirky narrative tones and all the characters are really awesome. This book brings out my inner geek.

Beastly by Alex Flinn

This is a stereotypical teenage book about werewolves and well erm.. I liked it. Guilty pleasure. It's not all that well written. Unrealistic. Yet I couldn't put it down. Think this would be really good for reading on holiday or when you're stressed out and need to unwind.

Life The Universe And Everything by Douglas Adams

I loved the first two books in the series but in this one it just seemed like it was being dragged out and I hated reading this. And to think there are another 2 books as well! I almost wish I hadn't read this as it's knocked Douglas Adams down a bit in my eyes. If you read the series, stop after the second book.
