Week In Photos #18

Trying out my new Good Things moisturiser / The Dark Knight Rises / Waiting on the bus in the sun
Our bridge in a mechanical engineering workshop / Iceberg at Dynamic Earth / Pizza
Bowling / Starbucks / Books of the week

This week has been absolutely amazing. I've been a part of the Heriot-Watt Brightest Watts summer week. So this week I've been taking part in workshops in urban studies, civil engineering, biology, mechanical engineering, physics and psychology. They were all really awesome. We even made ice cream with liquid nitrogen and it was actually really good. All of our transport and food was provided free of charge and on Wednesday we went to dynamic earth, had dinner at pizza hut and then went bowling. And I didn't even have to pay a penny! I met loads of lovely people, everyone was super nice and we all plan to stay in touch.

I also went to see The Dark Knight Rises with my boyfriend and it was amazing. I nearly cried at one bit and I'm not one to cry at films/shows. My friend's mum has also started teaching me to crochet. I  picked it up really quickly and I'm really enjoying it. I can't wait to make lots of cool things. When I get to the point where I can make really cool things would you like to see posts about what I've crocheted?

I absolutely loved Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen, I watched the film a couple of weeks ago but as per usual the book is so much better. I read about 20 pages on Friday morning and then read the rest of it in a few hours on Saturday.

What have you been up to this week?
