December Favourites

Hello everyone, welcome to my first post of 2013! I hope you all had a good night last night: whether you were staying in or went out to party. Stuart and I went out to a get together at one of his friend's place last night. I'm writing this on New Years Eve but I can imagine we had a great time.

Real Techniques Blush Brush- I only got this at Christmas but I have already fallen in love with this brush. It is so, so soft and applies my blusher like a dream. It seems to be the perfect size for my cheeks and my make up looks a lot better when I use this. The brush also seems to be really well made but I can't comment on shedding etc because I don't feel like I've had it long enough. I think I'm going to buy the set of brushes for eyes(can't remember the proper name of it).

Marc Jacobs Lola Perfume- My gran bought this for me when we were on holiday and it's became my 'lady scent' I like to wear this when I'm going somewhere fancy or to a party, it makes me feel so posh and lady like. Love it.

Johnson's Gentle Eye Make Up Remover- This is my second bottle of the stuff so that says a lot! I've been using 17's Tattoo Me eyeliner since October and it requires an oil based make up remover otherwise it won't budge. This was the cheapest one that I could find and it does a really good job.

Morag's blog, Mo'Adore, has been one of my favourites for a while. When I first found it I read it right back to the start! I recently got to meet Morag and she's as lovely in real life as she is on her blog. What I love about Morag's blog is that her posts aren't your average beauty and fashion posts, she also has lots of interesting life posts. Everything is also incredibly well written. You can view her blog here.

Another favourite blog of mine is Apple Toothpaste, written my the lovely Annie. She's currently studying a masters in Holland so her blog is full of lovely travel posts and posts about Dutch culture, I've especially liked reading the posts about how they celebrate Christmas. This blog gives me such bad wanderlust! I also really love Annie's wishlists. You can view her blog here.
