Review: Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Recovery

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review the answer to my dry skin prayers. As most of you probably know, I work part time in an aquarium. As much as I love my job, it really dries out the skin on my hands. It's so bad that sometimes my fingertips crack and bleed because they're so dry. I also always seem to have some sort of cut on my hands. They're not in great shape and a lot of hand creams just don't cut it for me. I reviewed Crabtree & Evelyn's Hand Therapy after buying it in August and I now have a new edition to my C&E family: the Hand Recovery.

Hand Recovery is something that I'd never seen before. A hand scrub. After trying it out in the shop I knew I had to buy it as it made my hands feel softer and smoother than ever before. It contains 3 different sized exfoliants that help take care of any dead skin and then when you wash it off it releases lots of oils that moisturise your skin. And after topping it off with a spot of hand cream your hands are left softer than a baby's bottom. The lemon, honey and coriander scent is absolutely beautiful. It's very refined and quite 'grown up' compared to a normal citrus scent, not so bitter!

I have to admit that I was not looking forward to spending £16 on a scrub for my hands but after using it for a month I know that I'll keep on repurchasing this again and again. It's an absolute life saver for my horrible dry skin, especially as we're coming into winter. I don't think this product is really necessary if you don't suffer from dry skin all that badly but I definitely can't live without it. It's available in lots of different scents and I think I'm going to go for the pomegranate one next time.
