Review: Lush Charity Pot

Hello everyone. Today I'm reviewing one of my favourite Lush products of all time. Charity Pot. I've had countless little tins of this that I've picked up at the till but last time I was in Lush I just bit the bullet and bought myself a tub. Charity Pot is a hand and body lotion. All of the money except VAT is donated to various smaller charities. It's good that you can donate to charity whilst getting a great product back.

What I love the most about Charity Pot is the smell. I think this smells just like Turkish delight which is one of my all time favourite chocolates. I've checked the ingredient list and there isn't any rose in it so I'm not too sure where that comes from. Maybe it's the germanium? Not too sure. The chocolate scent definitely comes from the cocoa butter. I love products containing cocoa butter as they're just so moisturising. I think this scent can be a bit hit and miss as I know a few other bloggers who don't like it but I personally just can't get enough of this.

It's very thin in consistency but is very moisturising. It feels so light which is so nice in comparison to a body butter. Don't get me wrong, I love  body butters but using them seems like such a chore compared to using a body lotion. It's so much nicer. I grudge having to mositurise after getting out of the shower because it's so cold and boring but I really look forward to using this. It's quite expensive at £6.75 for a 95g tub or £12.95 for a 240g tub but I think that it's alright to pay that as the money is going to charity anyway! I would definitely recommend Charity Pot, especially to Lush newbies who are a bit wary of what to try.
