Stone Bridge Hair Accessories

Hello everyone. How are you all today? I'm in a great mood because I get to talk about my new hair accessories from Stonebridge Hair. I was sent a little surprise package(for review purposes) last week and I was so happy when I opened it so see these goodies inside as I think they match my style so well!

Stone Bridge are a luxury hair accessories company. All of their pieces are hand made all over the world, but mostly in France. What appealed to me the most was that on their website you can browse predominantly by your hair type. I have very thick, very long curly hair and I've wasted so much money on cheap Primark clips that can't hold my hair properly and just slide out. It's nice that they consider people with different hair types rather than going for the 'one size, fits all' attempt that some brands do when that obviously isn't the case. You can also fill in a little survey and they'll email you a list of recommendations. You can tell that they really care about delivering great quality customer service.

Cadre Rectangle Claw in Silver Shell - £40.50
I use a claw clip to keep my hair back when I'm washing my face, in the shower or trying to concentrate. Before I got my hands on this little beauty I was using one that cost me about £5 from Claire's Accessories. It was fine and it done the job. But as my hairs gotten longer and longer I've started to notice that it's just not able to hold as much of my hair anymore and it's starting to let quite a lot of hair fall out. When I opened the parcel and found this I was a little bit worried. It's about half the size of the other clip! But it's actually able to hold all of my hair up at once with no problem. I'm super impressed. I really like the shell pattern, it's so shiny. Shiny. Shiny. Shiny. I do think that at £40.50 it's a little bit over priced however. At least as I only wear it around the house that's a bit expensive. If it was something that I wore up in my hair out more often I think I would be happy paying the price for it, as it is so well made.

Oriente Large Barrette in Mink - £32.00
The true gem for me is the Orient Large Barrette, these photos just don't do it justice. It's got some gorgeous copper tones through it and when hit by the natural sunlight it's just absolutely beautiful. I have some natural ginger through my hair which I try to bring out by dying my hair with Lush's Caca Rouge Henna, I also think that wearing this brings out that colouring. When I wear this I create a 'half up half down' pony tail and then slide this right over the top of the bobble to hide it. I think it looks really effective and I've had a lot of compliments on it. You can really tell the difference between this and a cheaper hair clip. The faster is very sturdy and doesn't 'ping' open and hit you in the head. The clip itself is very thick and sturdy too. Yes it's expensive but I do feel like you're getting what you pay for.
