Summer Book Swap

Tuesday, 3 June 2014
Hello everyone. Myself and the lovely Beth from Beth Tinkerbell thought it would be a nice idea to organise a book swap. We thought that the start of the summer would be a great time to do so as everyone has a little more spare time. I know I've definitely upped my reading game since all of my exams finished.

Basically the idea is that we're going to match you up with someone else and you will send them a book. You will also receive one in return although not necessarily from the same person. Now as books can be very expension we are recommending that you do not send a new book. You could find one in a charity shop that is in nice condition or send on a book that you own and have already read. Or check out bargain shops like The Works. Of course if you want to you can send a new book but we can't guarentee that you will be sent a new one in return. All we ask is that you send a book that is in good condition. It would also be great if you could include a little note explaining why you chose that book and leave a way for them to thank you(A Twitter username/email address).

Sounds good right?
If you'd like to participate them please send and email to with 'Summer Book Swap' in the subject bar and fill out this little form:

The closing date for entries will be the 28th of June. After midnight anymore entries can't be put in. On June 30th we will send you an email telling you who you'll be sending a book to. We will also give you a deadline as to when the book needs to be sent by, this will roughly be in about two weeks time.

I hope you are all as excited about this as I am and want to join in. For the sake of postage costs this swap is UK only, I'm very sorry. If this swap goes really well we may organise an international one in the future, we'll just have to wait and see!
