The Harry Potter Tag

You may have noticed that I've been a bit quiet on the blogging front lately. Why? Errr, I've been reading Harry Potter books. I've read them all 1000000000 times(approximation) but when I started reading Chamber Of Secrets during the BookTubeAThon I realised that I really needed to reread them all. I got so sucked into it that I just had no motivation to do anything but read. Then I ran out of scheduled posts and just decided to have a little blogging break. Then I remembered that Becky had done a Harry Potter and I decided that would be such an appropriate blog post to do to get back into the swing of things!

1. What is your favourite book?
My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I think the characters really start to grow up in this book and its nice to see them grow and develop. I love all the excitement that comes along with the world cup and the tournament. There are wizards from different countries and its so interesting to hear about the way they do things in different places as we only really get a 'British magic' perspective in the other books. And you know, that ending!

2. What is your favourite film?
Its a tie between Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows Part 2. Goblet of Fire because its my favourite book and I love all the haircuts(or lack there of). And Deathly Hallows PArt 2 because it was amazing to see the whole thing wrap up. I wasn't as much of a fan of Deathly Hallows Part 1 though as it was really slow and I don't think much happened.

3. What is your least favourite book?
I'd probably say Prisoner of Azkaban. I don't dislike it, I just find that its not as exciting as the rest of them. I don't dislike any of the books, choosing a least favourite is hard!

4. What is your least favourite film?
As I've already said, probably Dealthy Hallows Part 1 because it was so slow! I really dislike the way a certain character death was handled at the end of Order of the Phoenix though. I don't think that it was well explained or as emotional as it was in the book.

5. What parts of the books/films made you cry?
I didn't actually cry at all when reading the books. I was 10 when I read Deathly Hallows and I don't think I was really capable of that sort of emotion over a book and I don't think I really realised at the time just how much Harry Potter meant to me. When watching Deathly Hallows Part 2 I started crying when Ron saw Lavender Brown during the Battle Of Hogwarts and then didn't stop.

6. If you could hook up with any character who would it be?
I used to really fancy Fred Weasley and then he got killed off. Cheers Joanne. I would hook up with Tom Riddle from the Chamber of Secrets movie though, what a babe.

7.  Who is your favourite character?
Don't ask me that! I think it would be a 4 way tie between Hermione, Neville, Luna and Ginny. Awesome, sassy book Ginny, not crappy movie Ginny.

8. Who is your least favourite character?
Bellatrix, she was truely horrid. Especially when she's talking to Neville about torturing his parents.

 9. What is your least favourite line?
To be honest, I can't really think of one that really stands out to me.

10. What would your patronus be?
I think an octopus patronus would be really cool. The way they move is very graceful and I think that would cross over to a patronus well.

11. If you could have the resurrection stone, invisibility cloak or elder wand which would you chose?
Probably the invisibility cloak although I'd be tempted by the elder wand. An invisibility cloak would be cool but I think it would tempt me to go sneaking about on people.

12. Which house would you be in?
Ravenclaw through and through! I even got sorted into Ravenclaw on Pottermore.

13. If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?
Matthew Lewis, what a fitty.

14. If you were on the Quidditch team which position would you play?
I used to be pretty good at basketball so probably a chaser. I've be a rubbish beater or a keeper. Being seeker would be fun but it's a lot of responsibility!

15. Were you happy with the ending?
I thought it was a good enough ending but I'd still like some more books!

16. How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
The Harry Potter books instilled a love of reading in me, I owe them a lot because of that.

If you'd like to do this tag then please do! I'd love to read your answers.
