Review: The Body Shop Vitamin E Sorbet

Monday, 8 September 2014
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing some of The Body Shop's Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet which was sent to me for review by the lovely people at The Body Shop in Fort Kinnaird. Fort  Kinnaird is a retail park in Edinburgh that's nice to go to if you want to avoid the busy hustle of the city centre! You can see a list of all of their stores here

The Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet is a new moisturiser that's marketed at people of all skin types. I've been having a bit of a rough time lately with my skin. It's generally always oily but lately I've found that it's been dry and just playing up. I've also head a lot of great things about skincare from The Body Shop in general so I was excited to try it out. It has a gel consistency and has little bits through it which leave a matte finish on the skin. I really like this because if I don't feel like wearing make up it still looks like I'm wearing a powder. It also has a cooling sensation which I'd say lasts for about 5 minutes. This is really nice, especially for waking you up in the morning. It feels very fresh.

I'm going to be honest and say that I'm not really a fan of the smell of the vitamin E range. I can't put my finger on it I just don't like it. That doesn't really put me off using this though as it doesn't stay. The tub is £12 but as you only need a little bit it will last for a while. I don't think it really works out as being more expensive than my Lush moisturiser and I can see how it would work for all skin types! You can buy it in store or online here.
