The Body Shop's Christmas Event

Monday, 10 November 2014
Hello everyone! On Tuesday night I headed along to The Body Shop on Princes Street with a few other Edinburgh bloggers. They were treating us to a little blogging event all about their Christmas products. I'm a massive fan of The Body Shop any way but I have a little space in my heart for their Christmas range. They always release 3 new scents at Christmas which were normally vanilla, cranberry and ginger. The ginger was always my favourite so when I heard that it was getting replaced with an apple scent I was a little bit gutted. How would it stand up?

The apple scent is actually pretty awesome. I'm a fan, it can stay! Its a very sweet apply scent, if you're a fan of Alberto Balsam's apple shampoo and conditioner then you'll like this. The Christmas range includes all the usual products like the body butters and scrubs but also some new ones. They have little sparklers which are kind of like perfume puffs. They spray out a scented shimmer that would look amazing for a Christmas night out. The packaging is so cute.

The cranberry and  vanilla scents are gorgeous as usual. If you can't decide there are a few gift sets that allow you to try out the whole range! These would be perfect for a secret santa present or one of those presents you need to buy for someone even though you don't really know them that well(aka boyfriend's parents).

I always think The Body Shop really bring it with their packaging. The work that must go into all of their gift sets is insane. See that metal tin there? If you twist the bottle in the middle it starts to spin and plays music like a little music box. How amazing is that? I also love the little polar bear kit too. So sweet!

And I know you bloggers are all excited for this. Yes, the advent calendar. This comes in at a whopping £50 which is totally out of my price range but hey, if you have the money to spend then why not? I've had a look at all the products that are in it and I do think you're still getting a bargain.

And more gift sets. There are seriously tons of them! But the best part? The Body Shop are collaborating with War Child this Christmas so that every gift set purchased also purchases one lesson for a child in a war torn country. Amazing.

I think its every beauty blogger's dream, a wall full of skincare!

We were treated to a lovely goodie bag containing a lip balm, hand cream, soap, body polish and a cute little polar bear shower puff. Thank you very much!
