Glasses Direct Home Trial

Sunday, 8 February 2015
Hello everyone. I was recently contacted my Glasses Direct asking if I'd like to try a pair of their London Retro glasses. I wear my glasses every day so its nice to have more than one pair to wear. When you wear glasses all day, every day, they almost become a part of your identity. So picking the right pair of glasses is important. You don't want to spend a lot of money on glasses to find out that 3 months down the line you don't like them anymore. Like if you had to choose one pair of shoes you'd want them to a really nice pair that suited you and would go with everything right?

Glasses Direct offer a free home trial service. You can pick up to four pairs of their glasses and they'll send them to your house. The glasses just have plain glass in them so you can try them on, see what you think and even ask family and friends which ones they like best. My mum was having a right wee nosey through my box, she's a fan of the Presley style. I think this is a really good service. Its free but you do have to give them your card details just incase you don't return the glasses. Which is fair enough! After that you have a week to return the glasses(they pay the return delivery) and then you can pick the pair you want. Or you can chose not to get any of them. Completely up to you!

The four pairs that I picked are(clockwise): Malcolm, Fairbanks, Loren and Presley. I really like the designs that London Retro offer. I think they're a little bit quirky but not over the top, meaning they'd make great every day glasses. I'm still a little undecided. I think my favourite two pairs are the Presleys and the Malcoms. Ie the two on the left. I posted the below photo on Instagram and the bottom left pair seemed to be the unanimous winner!

What do you think? Which pair should I get?
